Can't connect to server

Im new to here and just downloaded the game, but when i go to bfbc2game . exe it wil say: Failed to initialize the Project Rome Client. Unknown client/server detected! Please verify the integrity of your files and try again.

I think i forgot something to do.
I installed it this way:
Downloaded the torrent: battlefield bad company 2 reloaded
After using daemon tools and doing the setup. i did the patch, then i placed the crack in the folder.
Used the b886 client from the newest download and pasted that in there aswel.

Did i do something wrong? and what will be the fix for it.

Make sure to NOT use/apply any cracks as these would deem the game unusable.
