A Small Addition To Rome Status Monitor

to give a final statement on occuring issues regarding downtimes we would like to refer to Imposters' NexusLog service.

http://www.nexuslog.tk

The service provides you a status monitor, a stats tracing system and a server overview.

Remember that THIS announcement is the final warning concerning those topics popping up when the master server is undergoing downtime for any reason.

Since we provide you a service where you can inform yourself about the server status anytime be warned!

If the master server has crashed or has a downtime for any reason any topic being created to ask for the server status of the master server will be deleted immediately, the OP will be punished and if necessary we will take expanded administrative actions against the regarding forum user.

Over and out.

Yesss ... just strictly ... just strictly ... :D

... a small addition (idea) to the status page though: an additional admin comment field could be added to the status page, so when the master server is down (as it's just been down for more than a half day now), if an admin would have a bit more detailed info of why the server is down and/or approximately how long it'll be down, he could share it with us Nexus fans ... I'm sure it would prevent many further n00b moanings :D

Well if the server is down, then there are maybe 2 important reasons:
  1. crashed
  2. maintenance

And there isn't any ETA, since NF is the only person afaik, who can restart the server if it crashed. You can also join the IRC Channel to get an answer quite fast
