i am new to the Forum...and new to BF3!
hope the emulator can make simple local Lan Matches like BF2 - that would be very nice

is there an timeline for the emulator
- end closed beta
- start open beta
- final release (what's inclued)

Sadly i can't tell you that much about the timeline. A fixed one is not existing. For more information please visit the VU FAQ topic and the Venice Unleashed GitHub. The last two days were pretty busy on there. Since NoFaTe is back from his vacation he is tracking down some issues quite fast now.
